We've already weighed in on BlazBlue and in so doing, we said it was one of the best fighters we've played in a very long time. If you've got the lightning reactions necessary to play such a title, you won't be disappointed in this game's polish and almost ceaseless intensity. For fans of old-school fighters like Guilty Gear and The King of Fighters, Calamity Trigger is an absolute gem in every sense of the word; the developers have appropriately catered to the hardcore aficionados. If you grew up with games like these, you can't pass it up...just make sure you have a healthy stock of controllers, as some may get busted in the playing of this game.
