Music-based video games have become extremely popular over the past few years, so you shouldn't be surprised that Band Hero officially launched yesterday. It's from Neversoft, one of the pioneers of the genre, and you can bet that fans of Guitar Hero and Rock Band will most certainly be intrigued...even if it means handing over more cash. The good news is that games like this always pay for themselves within a week; the first time you and some friends spend a few blissful hours with those plastic instruments, the purchase will have become worthy. It's party time!
