Even when a game is as heavily focused on the atmospheric single-player campaign as Bioshock 2 will be, you can never discount the importance of online multiplayer. Besides, a game like this, which offers such a wide variety of options for every player, lends itself to a somewhat unique and even addictive multiplayer experience. If you need any further convincing, examine some Deathmatch gameplay. Come February, this hotly anticipated sequel will make a very big splash and it's good to know that it'll have excellent longevity beyond that stellar campaign.
