What's a Final Fantasy with Summons? They've gone by different names in the history of the franchise (Guardian Force in FFVIII, for instance) but they always involve help from a higher, stronger power. Fans of the series know the names; Ifrit, Ramuh, Shiva, Bahamut, and yes, Odin. In this FF iteration, it seems clear that your Summons will join you in battle, with their own set of statistics, which is similar to FFX, except the party would disappear when the summoned creature was on the battlefield. In FFXIII, it seems like he or she will simply join the fray and go NUTS on the foe, along with the help of the summoner. Looks awesome!
