Despite all the flash and distinctly sexy veneer, Bayonetta is about more than over-the-top brutality and mind-bending combat speed. There's a good deal of platforming and even a bit of puzzle-solving involved, too, so prepare yourself for an action game that offers absolutely everything. Just about every aspect of this game should appeal to the hardcore action aficionado; just be ready for a definite challenge. The developers themselves have called the game "sadistically hard," so if that sounds overly daunting, you might want to stick with something like Darksiders.
