Cavia's adult-themed action/RPG has been turning some heads lately and if you want to learn more about the edgy characters, check out this new companions trailer. Nier certainly appears to have a lot going for it, and provided the designers did their job correctly concerning the combat, this should be one hell of an adventure. Loaded with dark themes and a truly gritty feel, this really doesn't look much like a cutesy JRPG, now does it? Square-Enix has wanted to publish titles that appeal more to the Western crowd, so perhaps this is a logical step.
