In the second-biggest news of the week (the first has to be Mass Effect 2 coming to the PlayStation 3), Insomniac has announced the third installment in this awesome series. We still say the sequel never got enough love from gamers, so we're hoping Resistance 3 will hit with a bigger splash. Of course, this particular category of gaming is immensely competitive but if anybody can create a worthy competitor, it's Insomniac. We'll keep a close eye out for any new details and info as the year progresses; we can't wait for real-time footage!
