It's a very new direction for the long-running franchise and we learn more about it in this interview. Need for Speed: The Run features a compelling storyline and will even let us get out of the car (that ought to be interesting). Provided the developers get the driving right and the plot isn't too contrived, we should be looking at one of the year's best.
