  In addition to the stellar gameplay, the Soul Calibur franchise has always been known for beautiful visuals. This Transcendence Trailer proves just how gorgeous the fourth installment will be, as we're treated to both vivid CGI and unbelievable gameplay graphics. Furthermore, if this video is any indication, we may have to expect more in the way of a cohesive storyline this time around. Fighting games certainly don't require a good plot, but perhaps Namco is looking to add a wee bit of innovation to the aging genre. But either way, Soul Calibur IV looks absolutely tremendous; this one could end up being one of the best games of 2008. Game of the Year nomination, anyone?
