  Just because the fighting genre isn't a cornerstone of the industry like it once was doesn't mean it's gone. There are still a few very intriguing titles out there, even in the 2D realm. Here's a look at Battle Fantasia, which is very clearly a Japanese fighter with plenty of speed and color. It's an arcade title that should eventually work its way to Sony's next-gen console, and if it does, it'd be one of the first old-school-type games to be part of the PS3's library. Those who remember the days of 2D Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat will be interested to learn more about Battle Fantasia, and we hope to have release details soon.
