  Now that's speed. The first Sonic effort from Sega in this generation was just plain atrocious, but they're seeking to redeem themselves with Sonic Unleashed. Here's the first gameplay trailer for the game, and in many ways, it should help to pique your interest...even if you've long since sworn off the cocky blue hedgehog. Don't count him out yet, 'cuz this trailer points towards the very real possibility that we may all once again fall in love with Sonic. A tremendous amount of speed, sleek environments, tight platforming, level ingenuity; it's all a breath of fresh air, and we'll certainly keep an eye on it. Sega should unleash Unleashed some time later in 2008.
