  Next week, this year's Madden entry releases, and long-time fans everywhere will once again be sprinting down to the store, possibly for a GameStop midnight launch. In this video, the man himself talks about how he's not interested in just slapping his name on a box and raking in the cash. Mr. Madden has been involved in the development of this franchise - now 20 years old - "since Day 1," and he says he always wants the most realistic football simulator possible. Furthermore, he reminds us that if you only "stay the same," and you don't grow and get better, you will slip away into obscurity. Well, EA seems to be embracing that philosophy with Madden NFL 09; they might give us the first truly great sports game of the new generation!
