  The original Red Faction was a fantastic early FPS for the PS2, but you can expect something a great deal different from Red Faction: Guerilla. First of all, the most obvious change revolves around the new third-person action format, which is clearly shown in this beta gameplay video. That's a jet pack, boys and girls, and it looks super cool! Clearly, Volition and THQ are bringing Red Faction into a new generation that puts great emphasis on multiplayer and online play, so it's no surprise to see them working hard to deliver a fine experience for all. They've got a ways to go - we still don't have an official release date just yet - but we're hoping the end result will be well worth a purchase.
