Vampire Rain: Altered Species - Exclusive Japanese Rainy Day Trailer Video

  Vampire Rain turned out badly for the Xbox 360, but here's hoping the PlayStation 3 version - Altered Species - will be far superior. The developers have certainly had the time to work out the major kinks, and when it releases this week, it might be a worthy purchase for survival/horror and/or action fans. There's no arguing the level of over-the-top combat and blood, that's for sure. As you can see in this new trailer, this game does have a lot going for it, but it's all going to hinge on the iffy gameplay mechanic. Unless they've fixed a few crippling drawbacks, we could be looking at a throwaway PS3 title. On the other hand, we're always excited when we see promising videos, so we have to remain hopeful.
