Outlast Coming To PS4 In February, Free For Plus Members

Playstation Plus just keeps on delivering the goods.

I keep asking myself what Sony will be putting up on the store every Tuesday for Plus members. That question goes doubly for the PS4 store. That thing is just so empty.

But hey, quality over quantity yes? We've had the excellent Resogun, Contrast, and now Don't Starve is there for PS4. Meanwhile PS3 gamers are getting such hot titles as DmC: Devil May Cry and I'm pretty sure Bioshock Infinite will be dropping today.

Next month PS4 gamers will get a survival horror experience that has already made waves on PC. Developer Red Barrels has announced on their Facebook page that Outlast will scare PS4 gamers in February. It will of course being scaring you for free if you are a Plus member.

We love honest to goodness survival horror around here and access to Outlast will soon be yet another reason to join PS Plus.

Its one of those "Oh Crap!" and run and hide type of horror that's popular on PC right now. I personally would also like to see Amnesia on PS4. Since its supposed to be one of the scariest games ever.

Awesome. Really good horror game. Was playing it on PC until in decided to quit on me. I was at the end too. Guess my PC found it too scary I guess. The game may also give you an idea what Alien Isolation might be like.

I tried this at Red Barrel's booth at PAX last year and jumped back so violently during one scene I nearly knocked over the kiosk. Even on the show floor surrounded by thousands of people, (granted, I had headphones on), the atmosphere sucks you in extremely effectively. Looking forward to finally playing it next month … and for free!

Hey, World, it doesn't matter to you now seeing that you own all the current PS products but did you know you can claim PS+ games for platforms you don't own through sony's website?
I have Resogun claimed and purchased already, as part of PS+. I'll be sure to snag Drive Club when that time comes as well. So whenever I do get a PS4 I'll have a nice bundle of games stacked up waiting for me to download.

perfect example whats wrong with todays horror games.
they have somehow managed to give the term repetition and boring a whole new extreme!
i swear to god if i have to go down to 1 more basement to activate the obligatory generator im going to scream!
being tense and atmospheric is all well and good, but when continuing to play the game becomes a boring chore you know your in trouble.
getting sick of these run and hide games too, i mean theres only so many times you can run and hide in the obligatory locker till it gets boring, old, and stale.
kinda happened to AC now too, i mean hiding in tall grass and the bails of hay conveniently placed is starting to get really old!

Looks like a great little title, I'll definitely try it. And yeah, I can't believe Devil May Cry is FREE right now as well. Gonna have to take that for a spin this weekend.
