Rockstar Needs Help With "Cutting-Edge" Next-Gen Tech
At this point, we have to assume all major developers are working on next-generation stuff in some capacity.
So it shouldn't come as any surprise that Rockstar is one of those developers. After all, without Rockstar, we'd feel kinda lost as gamers...no Grand Theft Auto? No Red Dead? Man, how depressing would that be?
A reader has sent us a job listing at Rockstar North (the GTAV team); as you can see, the studio is looking for an experienced Core Engine Programmer to help in building "cutting-edge" tech for both current and next-gen systems. The successful candidate will have experience with "streaming, open-world games," and that of course comes as no surprise, considering Rockstar's development history. By the way, this branch of the talented developer is based in Scotland so if you think you've got what it takes and you live in the US, you'd have to relocate.
Of all the game makers out there, I'm probably most excited to see what Rockstar does in the next generation. They could utilize a lot of extra power and do some fantastic things, don't you think?

intrigued to see what R* does with next gen systems, but theres other developers who could and would make better use of it.
id be more interested to see what 4A games, CD project red and 343i do with it.
or even bugthesda.
they may make ridiculously buggy games, but if theres one thing they do perfectly its creating beautiful, creative, innovative, awe inspiring worlds!

Well, we can only wait to see what kind of fun GTA V brings us this coming year, and only dream of what kind of goodies we'll get with the PS4 and Rockstar.
