Murdered: Soul Suspect Confirmed For Next-Gen Consoles

If you were hanging onto your current-gen system for Murdered: Soul Suspect, well...

Square Enix has announced that the anticipated "supernatural detective thriller" is also headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in addition to the previously announced PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. However, while the game is coming to the latter systems in June, the publisher did not provide us with a date for the next-gen versions.

Unsurprisingly, the new console iterations will boast increased visual fidelity thanks to native 1080p output. We can also expect other technical achievements, such as "subsurface scattering and an increased particle count." Players guide detective Ronan O'Connor on a quest to locate his murderer; as he's dead to start the adventure, we'll play in a darker world that's something like purgatory.

For more on Murdered: Soul Suspect, be sure to check out our preview. Forget the Final Fantasies; this one might be the most intriguing title Square Enix currently has in the hopper.

according to playstation aus facebook page its releasing simultaneously on both systems.
that explains why we have had such a long wait from its announcement, to hearing about it again, they were too busy trying to get next gen up and running and show that.
kinda makes me wish it was not coming for next gen though, so excited to get this and adding 2 more systems, well that just added a few extra months of waiting.

so, so, so cant wait for this it looks so cool!
i mean murder mystery is probably one of the most overdone genres in pretty much every medium, besides this one!
its about f*cking time we got a proper murder mystery game, and even one where your the victim!
ghosts another thing, why havent we had many games built on explaining the supernatural?
this is actually a game id love to see david cage work on, he could put a really cool story and explanation to it.
exactly what i was expecting from beyond.

O, and a game releasing in JUNE!?
oh get outa here, come on you know its illegal to release games in JUNE!
surely thats a typo...........
