Watch Dogs Finally Lands On May 27
The game was initially supposed to be a launch title for the new next-gen systems.
But look at the bright side: We almost never have anything to play during the summer months. Now we do.
Ubisoft has announced that the hotly anticipated Watch Dogs will launch on May 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360; there was no mention of the Wii U version. The date comes courtesy of a new trailer leaked on Xbox.com and now it's available for the whole world to see (check it out below).
Originally set to release last November, this game has been one of the most anticipated titles on the horizon. The delay was unfortunate and it would've bolstered the launch lineups of the PS4 and Xbox One, but if they needed more time to make it right, fine. It's better than launching a disappointing product, yes? When the game does hit store shelves, the publisher will expect it to ultimately sell around 6 million copies (about the same as the original Assassin's Creed).
