Second Son Valuable Power Comparison: Heroic vs. Ruthless

Still on the fence concerning your moral choice in the upcoming inFamous: Second Son?

I've never really cared about the moral implications; I've always just wanted to have access to the best abilities. Of course, you have no way of knowing which way of playing - whether you go the Heroic or Ruthless route - will yield those results.

Oh, but now you do.

As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog, Sony reached out to a couple community members and gave them a chance to showcase each set of powers. The Heroic vs. the Ruthless is on display in a YouTube compilation below. So, what do you think? Which route are you taking?

Heroic

Ruthless

These moral choices always mean something for me. And I'm such a pussy. I *have* to be the good guy, I just can't get myself to be bad.

It always - *always* - feels wrong if I choose the bad side, to such an extent that I stop playing and reload an earlier save and do "the right thing".

I'm the same way, I think I'm just born a "good guy", always trying to help everyone out. And playing a video game isn't something that separates me from that self, it feels wrong because my sense of justice is wicked strong.

I play the most evil way possible. I loved sucking the little girls bone dry in Bioshock.

Yep, me too. I have a strong digital conscience, you could say. I often feel like the guy on screen really is sort of my avatar, so I really need to do the right thing!

I won't spoil it here, but I literally bumped a button my controller in The Wolf Among Us that made the protagonist do a truly wretched thing. I felt bad about it for days, to the point where I really think I have to just start the game over and NOT do that and erase that awful deed from my hard drive!

lol I'm the same Telly. Those things really gets to me.

Another typical scenario is when you got dialogue options and you choose one of them, only to discover that it is said in an *entirely* different way than what I intended, pulling the conversation in the opposite direction of my intentions:D
I always have to rewind to a save game in those cases, regardless if the outcome is the same (as they usually are). Always.

Same here, I do it with movies too. I watch the first trailer and that's it. Too much information is given away before the release of media and I hate it.

If you saw one video of that game , those won t spoil a thing .At least nothing that will make you regret watching them .

I always play the hero, it just feels right. I tell myself I'll go back and play the villain afterwards to see both sides... but I never do. I'm sure that when I finally get a PS4 and Second Son I'll be plenty happy with the hero powers.

And lead designer Jaime Griesemer announced around eight hours ago that he has left Sucker Punch.

Meh, he hadn't been with them for very long. Well I don't consider 2-3 years that long.

I don t know , if that move at the end of the second video is available only for the ruthless way i mght have to do some evil things .
Otherwise it s gonna be mostly good deed from me , some people make it hard not to hit them in the face tho .

Even tho i love violence in movie/game , i despise it in real life ( just pointless most of the time ) .Easy to do bad things in games since no one suffer from it .

Lastly , finally another f in game to play on my ps4 ( or rather , finally an exclusive that was nt rushed for launch and use a good chunk of what the ps4 can offer ).

I wish the first video showed off the equivalent neon ability, if you noticed he achieved it right at the end of the demo.
