Hotline Miami Headed To PS4, Will Still Support Cross Buy
If you didn't get a chance to play it on the PS3 and you've already traded it in, don't worry.
Publisher Devolver Digital has revealed that it'll bring the critically acclaimed Hotline Miami to the PlayStation 4; the news came via Devolver boss Nigel Lowrie speaking to Destructoid at the Game Developers Conference.
The cool part is that if you did buy the original title on PS3 and Vita, you won't have to pay for the PS4 version. Lowrie confirmed that the over-the-top top-down shooter will retain its Cross Buy support when it launches for Sony's new system. It'll be a great way to introduce - or re-introduce, as the case may be - yourself to one of the most disturbingly addictive retro games out there.
Don't forget that the sequel, Hotline 2: Wrong Number, is also coming to the PS4, along with the Vita, PC, Mac and Linux platforms. The new effort abandons the 80s retro feel for a slightly less old-school 90s atmosphere, and we can't wait to see it.
