Killzone 4 Debuts This Year On PS4?

We speculated that it could end up being a PlayStation 4 launch title. Is it actually feasible now? Could it be...?

According to an anonymous source speaking to Videogamer, Killzone 4 is currently in development at Guerrilla Games and will launch this year on the PS4.

Obviously, this also implies that Sony's new console will be on store shelves at some point in 2013. Furthermore, the title could be revealed as early as this month; perhaps as part of Sony's February 20 press event, at which they're expected to reveal the PS4. Might they make the announcement and then confirm that Killzone 4 will be one of the launch titles? That would make some waves in the gaming community, wouldn't it? Guerrilla has supposedly been working on KZ4 for some time now, but we haven't heard anything official concerning the project just yet.

February 20 is looking like a more and more interesting date with every passing day... Can't wait!

As many big Sony titles as they have, for launch they should just on a board list all their games and throw darts for titles and throw in a couple of new Ips and boom!! Best Launch ever!!

I heard they were working on a new ip as well but with Sony backing them im sure theres plenty of support to work on 2 projects. I am curious though, about anyyhing including KZ, that GG is working on.

I'm glad to hear this. I know it's just a rumor but GG are great developers. They were one of the many developers that showed what the ps3 is capable of. I'm hoping they'll do the same for the ps4

I'm a huge KZ fan and am looking forward to KZ4, but KZ3 left me a bit disappointed. I hope GG won't have to be Sony's bitch this time to show of gimmicks like Move and 3D and that they can make KZ4 the way they want it to be. And please, don't hire anymore Hollywood screenwriters, the story was just fine until they did that...

I don't think the Feb 20 event will announce and games.

I think the Feb 20 event will be for the console only, then E3 will be the big games reveal.

Well... that's how they SHOULD play it.

Feb 20 gets everyone excited, without distracting with any games announcements, then we have a solid 3 months to let our imaginations run wild as to what to expect for the PS4 games. It would be fantastic marketing.

i doubt it will be KZ4, most of the rumors have been saying the open world GT game helmed by evolution studios and GGs new IP will be shown on the 20th.
not to mention GG have always been saying there giving KZ a rest, there working on a new IP.
