Evolve Interactive Gameplay Trailer Offers Six Fresh Viewpoints

Trailers are cool. Interactive trailers are cooler.

Today, 2K Games released an interactive gameplay trailer for the upcoming 4-on-1 next-gen shooter, Evolve. It's the game that pits four fighters against one monster (all human-controlled).

In the trailer, you can switch between six different channels to see how a full match plays out. This gives you a fresh perspective on the same encounter, which is quite interesting; check it out from the vantage point of Griffin the Trapper, Markov the Assault, Hank the Support, Val the Medic, or the monster, Goliath. The sixth channel combines all five perspectives and boasts commentary from the game's designers.

There's one video embedded here; if you want to see all six, head over to the game's YouTube channel. To learn more about the promising title, feel free to read our recent preview.

This game has a possible serious problem with lack of content like Titanfall. I can see this being a lot of fun for about a couple of weeks and then get really boring. I know, I know, we are not seeing everything right now. I hope that's the case. But, 4vs1 only will get old. Also the Humans are way OP! Seems like the Monster is punching air as well. When the Monster eats an animal it should grab the animal and bite its head off or actually do a eating animation where it's going down the throat like Return of the Jedi's Rancor. When the Monster stalks and then attacks that human that is all alone it seems to me the Monster should be able to bite his head off with a stealth kill or just kill him with a QTE or advanced QTE that can be interrupted by other human gun fire. I am not writing this game off, I just think I need to see more. Also, need at least 4 Monsters to ship with very different abilities. Otherwise the graphics look great! Having only 5 players with some AI animals should look great on the PS4.

I agree with the stealth kill. In the video the monster had the totally drop on the guy and could put him down. Just injury him, not killing him. Was like no way you'd not be dead from that.
