More E3 Leaks: Uncharted 4 Tech Demo, Destiny Gameplay, More

If all the leaked information is even close to accurate, we won't have many surprises at E3 this year.

That's a little disappointing (massive spoilers everywhere, really) but even so, at least we know what to expect. Last week, some tipsters supposedly leaked a ton of information concerning Sony's E3 press conference.

This week, it has happened again; this time, the leaked info comes from a forum user who posted up a screen capture of the E3 conference schedule. Here's what's on tap for Sony's show:

  • Destiny gameplay for PS4
  • DriveClub trailer for PS4
  • God of War 4 CGI for PS4
  • Indie Games trailer for PS3/PS4/Vita
  • inFamous: Second Son DLC gameplay for PS4
  • The Order: 1886 gameplay for PS4
  • Uncharted 4: The Sunken Blade tech demo for PS4
  • Watch_Dogs gameplay for PS4

Sony will bring other games to E3, which will be seen on the show floor; this includes titles like Lords of the Fallen, The Order: 1886, and Natural Doctrine. However, just because we don't see projects like Guerrilla's new IP (apparently, an epic RPG) on the conference list doesn't mean they won't unveil it. They do try to save some surprises for the presentation each year, ya know.

Why would Watch_Dogs be shown at E3 a couple weeks after it's release?

Is that a normal thing to do? Show off games that have just previously been released?

i seem to remember several E3's now that would highlight already released games. Games that released about a month within E3.

Yes , they did . But at least , it was an exclusive .So made some sense to show it at their boot .

If the best Watch Dogs experience is indeed best on PS4, then it makes sense to show it at Sony's conference, too......

This years E3 for Sony is looking pretty damn boring. If the rumors are true about the games being shown, Nintendo is looking pretty damn good, and I mean by a LONG shot.

He wasn't saying Ben lied. He was referring to the original article that Ben cited in that massive leak last week. If that was a real leak or just a lie someone made up and called a leak.Who verified the veracity of the source?

While I disagree thay Sony will have a show thats less than great, If Nintendo shows X and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, they would have shown two titles that are equal to or greater tuan everything on the list above. Not to mention Bayonetta 2, Yarn Yoshi, of course, more Smash, and anything else they have up their sleeves. I expect everyone to bring their A game this year. It's do or die for them .

All seems somewhat possible. Looking at the full list; I highly doubt that MS is going to be showing off Gears gameplay. Black Tusk were only repurposed to it a couple of months ago, so unless it was a stupidly simple process to convert the work on their "new IP" to the Gears franchise, it ain't happenin'.

Hope Sony doesn't spend a huge amount of time on inFamous DLC, and I'd definitely expect a couple of new announcements, if those games aren't unveiled pre-E3, as Sony has a tendency to do. As it stands, that all is expected, and pretty weak.

EDIT: Looking into it a bit more, it's starting to seem a bit more like wishful thinking, with Castlevania: SotN2, Xenogears: Origins as particular standouts for pretty stupid inclusions. No way that Konami would make the former exclusive to the 3DS, and the other seems to play off Monolith's X, which won't be Xenogears because that IP is owned by S-E. Also, not sure that Sony would only have Natural Doctrine playable on the Vita...

I realized the other day while driving home from work (yah, I think about video games while driving) is that I'm most concerned about what I hope I don't hear about from E3. That's right. I don't want to read that the next Ninja Gaiden game is an XO exclusive. I'd be angry for a long time. So there you have it. As long as E3 doesn't announce something like this I should probably do fine.

...and more E3-better-dont's of mine has to do with announcements about long running popular franchises being updated with a F2P sequel.

my excitement for the next Unreal Tournament dropped a few notches upon learning it was going to be F2P.

NG at the point of F2P?
I don't see how with it being primarily a single player game. but you never know I guess. Strange crap happens these days for japanese games being marketed here.

NG4 has to be in production; it's only sensible. I mean, Team Ninja isn't about to pull a Capcom and re-release DOA5 eighteen times. Well, unless you count endless porting...

Then again, maybe they're giving up on NG after the poor reception of NG3 and are instead focussing all their efforts on next-gen boob physics for a new DOA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Woo?

If the Uncharted thing is true as just a tech demo then there's no way in a donkey's butt we are seeing it this year. In fact I'm pretty sure we aren't anyway.

Hope the stuff from the other "leak" is true. Watch Dogs fails. If God of War 4 has Kratos in it I'm gonna spit.

We aren't seeing it. That's a guarantee. And I'm 82% certain that whatever is shown for UC4 will be taken from a cinematic, so it won't be gameplay, but nor will it be just a tech demo.

That list is terrible.

And if you read carefully there's nothing New to announce.

I really don't believe all 3 are just gonna show games previously revelead.

And if the list is true... There's no Heavly Sword to be seen :(

I just want an open world game like Watch_Dogs and GTAV where it is both a huge world and detailed, but the twist is that every building is accessible.

Or a AAA game with Mexican setting and character. Why hasn't this happened yet? The possibilities...

That list was remarkably uninteresting - it's mostly titles we've seen a lot of already, or titles that's not so interesting to begin with. I guess the crowd pleaser Uncharted was needed after all.

I still hope there's surprises in store from MM and GG. Those two were the headliners for me from that other list.

oh god please dont be true!
so were going to see indie games, meh no one watches E3 for indie games!
destiny meh weve seen so much on that.
driveclub, yea i bought a 550 dollar console, and got up early in the morning, so i could watch a trailer of a f*cking facebook game!
GOWIV nice, but only CGI?
nice to see $ony has not learned their lesson from the KZ2 debacle!
DLC?
really?
your going to spend a portion of your conference, at the biggest event in the industry, for DLC for a game that released 3 months ago to disappointing reception?
seriously!?
the order, great finally something that should be there!
and actual gameplay too, not this CGI/ tech demo crap!
uncharted 4, sigh see above.
this has been revealed for 8 months now and we STILL dont get a live gameplay demo!?
seriously!?
ND has always shown off their games by that window, even TLOU which was revealed at the VGAs had a live gameplay demo the E3 later!
watch dogs?
seriously!?
why the &^%$ would you waste a portion of your conference at THE biggest event of the year, on a multiplatform game, and one that has been out for a month?
seriously!

and more importantly wheres the surprises?
people have been so disappointed because we STILL dont know what GG is working on, what $SM is working on, what is that new amazing ZOMFG second coming new IP cory is working on?
what is $ony bend working on?
what is MM working on?
what is $ony london working on?
what is $ony JP working on?
what is quantic dream working on?
past year or so has been so disappointing because we have not seen a single thing that makes the ps4 worth buying, we look to E3 to blow our socks off, to make us jump in excitement and say WOW I TOTALLY WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ITS SO COOL!
and NONE of those are going to do that!

if you look at the photos listing those games it has tables mentioning presser and on show floor.
why would you have GOWIV, ISS DLC, 2 unannounced things on the list, but not have any other unannounced things that will be there not on the list.
makes no sense.

Really curious to see where they go next with God of War. There are so many mythologies to mine, and so many ways to build the gameplay into something more expansive. I hope they find a way to combine a little more gameplay freedom with that sense of driving momentum that made the earlier games so amazing. God of War at its best is an Epic Poem in video game form -- the story is the journey, the experience itself. I would be DEVASTATED if God of War 4 wasn't at least teased!

Unfortunately this list sounds a lot more likely than the previously rumored list... and very boring...

But really, when was the last time you saw a good E3 with any kind of huge surprises ala HS2 from Sony??
