Insider: Press Reactions To The Order Were "Incredible"

If you're anxiously anticipating The Order: 1886, your anticipation level is gonna rise another notch.

According to industry insider Shinobi602, a tipster who has been quite accurate in the past, reactions to the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive have been pretty impressive. As Shinobi said on Twitter:

"Forgot to mention that press impressions from The Order last week have been absolutely incredible. Itíll show for itself."

Furthermore, the embargo for this event ends on May 27 at 6 a.m., so we'll definitely know more about it next week. Expect to see some very positive write-ups and hopefully some new media, which will prep us for the game's arrival at E3 in June. Speaking of which, we've heard we might get a launch date for The Order during Sony's press conference, and there's a chance the game will arrive in time for the holiday season.

That's good, too, because we've also heard Uncharted 4 won't be here until next summer, so...

good. my sony mojo has been low lately. With games like Knack, KS SF, and the awful Vita port of GoW Collection, I need something from them that doesn't feel half-hearted and rushed.

Yes, finally some good news in regards to this title. I know it's beautiful and all but the game play rumors have been.....concerning. I have heard the word boring used to describe the game play. I cannot wait to see what they reveal today 3pm CT!!

Really bummed about the poor god of war vita port. Was ready to enjoy a god of war 2 play through on the small screen. Missed opportunity.

Who is behind The Order 1886? Are they know for AAA titles?

Ready At Dawn, who are responsible for the excellent God of War titles on PSP. They are also being helped by Sony Santa Monica I believe.

Well after GOW3 it's not out of the question to expect a console limit pushing game at any point in the gen from Santa Monica

This is the only game thus far that has excited me about the PS4. When I say that I mean to want to actually purchase it. I love the look and style of this game, assuming what we have seen does not change. As for story... as vague as it is right now, it still has me excited. Not overly because I do not what to get toooo high of expectations and I want to be wowed when it comes out. Course, that also depends on the game.

I am still playing on my PS3 waiting the first real AAA game exclusive for the PS4 to justify the purchase and like I predicted, it just might be one year after launch just in time for the Xmas. :)

Hears hoping!

Keep playing!

really looking forward to this, RAD have worked wonders with the PSP so i cant wait to see what they can do with the ps4!
i just wish they would get rid of that silly aspect ration though.
one reason why i dont watch movies at home, i f*cking HATE the aspect ration they use so you have big fat ugly black bars above and below the image.
WTF is the point of paying for a 60" TV when movies will only use say 80% of that?
ok thats the aspect ratio used in cinemas, but cant we adjust the movies for when they come to home use?
some movies do, some dont, really annoying!

I understand your perspective on aspect ratios, and I've heard it from some others as well. Personally speaking though, I'd rather have minor black bars or black columns than a distorted picture. Perhaps there's an option on your display to enlarge the picture slightly to hide the bars/columns? I thought many models of most brands have some kind of zoom or wide fit setting.
