Watch Dogs Sets Ubisoft's "Sold Through" Day One Record
As one might expect, the hugely anticipated Watch Dogs has hit big.
Ubisoft has announced that their newly released IP has "sold through more copies in its first 24 hours than any previous title in the company's history."
Many reviews have praised the game, even if the overall Metacritic average sits in the low 80s. There are plenty of 9+ analyses out there and it seems like many gamers are having tons 'o fun with the open-world hack-fest. Said Ubisoft co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot:
"Watch Dogs is an amazing achievement and our teams should be proud that the creativity, innovation and long hours they invested in making this game are paying off. Its great to see so many players enjoying the game, and it shows that Watch Dogs has cracked the code for developing a new blockbuster IP and a thoroughly new-gen experience."
