PS4/Vita Bundle Spotted, Might Be Ready Early Next Month

They'll probably make it official at E3 next week but in the meantime, we'll rely on the French branch of online retailer Amazon.

As reported by IGN, a new product page at Amazon France reveals a bundle package that sports the PlayStation 4 and Vita.

Called the "Ultimate Player Edition," it retails for 579, or about $790. The listing says the bundle will be available on July 4. Now, even though there's no such listing on Amazon's North American website, Twitter user Wario64 has posted a scan of next week's Best Buy ad, which shows off a $560 PS4/Vita package. It includes both systems as well as a copy of Borderlands 2 for the handheld.

This might be the only effective way to move Vitas right now.

Well, no $100 discount like some delusional people were hoping for but hey, a discount nonetheless. Too bad there's very little software to warrant the purchase of the hardware.

You must not own a Vita there are tons of JRPGs with quite a few coming out this year as well as many more Japanese games on the PSN store.

Many of the Vita games are simply Download only so you don't see them in stores or advertised.

I own one but the list doesn't really give me much confidence as the only RPG I'm into belongs to the competition. Plus with the high retail price for storage media, buying digital after digital game it just isn't... fair. Digital media ain't getting any smaller you know.

On the day I eventually get a PS4, this is likely the package I'd opt for.

I would definitel own a Vita or better yet a 3DS if I was still in high school and had plenty of time on my hands U_U.

On more interesting news (no disrepect, Ben). Crystal Dynamics might show of Tomb Raider 2 at E3.

It would make sense to make a move now than earlier since PS4s has already started to make profit for each console sold.

I just saw an ad for Best Buy (paper flyer) for the PS4/Vita bundle for $560. Includes BL2 for Vita and what looks like an 8GB storage card for the Vita
