E3 2014: LittleBigPlanet 3's Charisma Will Grace PS4 In November

Oh, you had to figure it was coming. So smile!

Media Molecule has confirmed LittleBigPlanet 3, in development for the PlayStation 4. And as revealed during Sony's E3 press conference, it will be available this November.

They showed off lots of great gameplay and a new character as well, and this exemplifies what PlayStation is all about in my mind. This brand pushes creativity and innovation; they want developers to tap into every ounce of imagination they have. And when it comes to LBP, it's tough to think of a more creative franchise. It's even better that LBP3 will be ready to go this holiday season; it's an exclusive title the PS4 definitely needed, don't you think?

We'll get that gameplay footage to you in our rundown of E3 trailers. Just stay tuned.

Not original? I hope your joking. That's all this game is about and if that's not enough surely you'll find tons of originality when you get online and play user created content.

LBP pioneered user generated content years before Minecraft or other attempts. They are THE Original user generated content game.

Honestly it was totally unexpected for me. LBP wasn't something I was going to expect to watch come onto my screen while watching their conference. haha

Nice. I'm surprised they got MM on the job. That's great.

It's not Media Molecule. It's Sumo Digital working on LittleBigPlanet 3. Media Molecule is working on a new IP.

So, apparently, this isn't being done by MM, but by Sumo Digital and Sony XDEV (I'm guessing that LBPHub got turned into this, considering Sumo *was* working on that). Looks like we're still waiting on MM's new project! Gamescom maybe?

What a good surprise. Wonder how it'll be without MM though.

I was really hoping for something like this. Even happier to see it is this! I like the multiplayer competitions we saw in that as well as the new characters. Should bring lots of new ideas. Some of the 3D platforming seems to be a big jump forward from the type of 3-lane 3D platforming of past titles.

It was just a small glimpse, but already you can see a ton of new advancements.

I haven't gotten into playing these games yet even though they look like fun, but really what's so new about this game?? From what they showed at the e3 conf this looks just like LBP2, doesn't exactly scream new, nor next-gen PS4 LBP to me...
