E3 2014: The Last Of Us: Remastered Confirmed For July 29

It's the definitive version of what was widely considered to be 2013's very best game.

And now, after Sony shot down rumors of a June 13 launch date, we finally have the official date. It was included with the new trailer for The Last Of Us: Remastered, which was presented during Sony's E3 press conference (see it below).

The updated iteration will release on July 29 and it will include all previously released DLC multiplayer maps, along with the single-player expansion, Left Behind. The footage shown off during the show was excellent, and one should be able to spot some of the graphical differences. As for whether or not it's worth the full $60 price tag, that really depends on the consumer. If you haven't played it before, this one is a no-brainer.

Me, I always want the best version of any great game for my collection, so...

For a remastered version, the graphics don't really look any different than from what I'd expect to see from a PS3.

Strange choice to have a spoilers video up there since a lot of people will be Xbox 360 converts to PS4 that haven't played it yet.

To be fair, it's a spoiler you discover like 20 mins into the game.

This game was so amazing. I already purchased the special 80$ addition on the PS3. It was worth every penny, but it's the last TLoU1 I buy. So now I have to convince one of my friends to but a PS4 just to get this, so I can borrow it. Just having someone else to converse with about the game would be nice.

Try listening to the soundtrack. That will really lull you in.

I have it already. It's available on Music Unlimited, too.
