Dragon Age: Inquisition Producer Clarifies Endings Situation
Personally, I never took that comment literally.
Last week, Dragon Age: Inquisition producer Cameron Lee said the upcoming RPG would boast "40 major endings with additional variations."
That got people talking but since that time, executive producer Mark Darrah clarified the statement to GameSpot:
"Ending clarification: Most endings are major variations based upon your choices in the game. There are only a few completely unique endings."
That sounds about right. I still say that all this so-called freedom concerning choices made in games doesn't result in much of anything concerning narrative shifts. In point of fact, considering what the writers would have to do, there really can't be any drastic story alterations. But having multiple endings is always a bonus, if only to encourage another play-through.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is ready to launch on October 7.
