The Last Of Us: Remastered Receives A $10 Price Cut

So, this is interesting.

Sony has decided to drop the price of The Last Of Us: Remastered for the PlayStation 4. It is now only $50 as opposed to $60 and those who pre-ordered with retailers like Amazon and GameStop have already received their $10 refund.

If you bought the game on the PlayStation Store, you haven't received that $10 refund, but PlayStation Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes and Sony President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida have clarified on Twitter that the refund is on the way:

"you should get a $10 refund in the next 5-7 days"

The upcoming PS4 edition boasts enhanced visuals, commentary from the director and voice actors, and previously released downlaodable content. It will be available on the PS4 on July 29. $10 isn't much but it's a definite difference, and we're wondering why Sony opted to make this change. Hmm...let me get back to that in a minute.

This is a great move by Sony. I don't think any of these HD ports should cost a full $60. I will be picking it up Day1. I'm finally going to pick up a PS4 (I know, I know). I've been really pissy about the lack of media features on the PS4 and was waiting to upgrade to an even better TV.

No hurry, there aren't any good games yet.

I wouldn't let major issues like lack of games and media features deter you LV. :)

It takes a little while for the newness to wear off. I can't say that I blame World for feeling that way, but I'm not bothered by it as much. I also have quite a few games for it already, so I'm not hurting for something to do. I wish there were more AAA titles in my library but that will change.

Good move. Despite the effort put into the game for PS4, it's definitely a class act for those that not only are new to the game but for those who may want to purchase it again.

What effort really? There's more effort put into the Master Chief Collection than this.

The Halo series has been around for 13 years. The Last of Us has been around for a year! I wonder which re-release is going to have more content to use... You're an idiot. You're either trolling or too stupid for your own good OR both.
