CD Projekt Confirms The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt For PS4
Another PS4 title has been confirmed and this one is bound to appease the role-playing aficionados out there.
It's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which was previously confirmed for "all high-end platforms" in 2014. Unsurprisingly, one of those "high-end platforms" is Sony's new PlayStation.
CD Projekt boss Adam Badowski said they were "thrilled" to be one of the developers who were granted early access to the PS4. He said his team was honored to be in the company of other "legendary developers" that are also working on the PS4 (including EA, Bethesda, and Ubisoft). And after yesterday's full unveiling of the PlayStation 4, the developer can now announce The Witcher 3 for the new machine. Added Badowski:
"The new hardware gives us the opportunity to create something great. We are able to work with the new console from its birth and this allows our in-house REDengine 3 to push the graphical limits of what the PlayStation hardware can display. The console is fresh and has some innovative solutions that we're looking forward to using in our game” said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED studio."
Most hardcore RPGers will tell you that The Witcher games have always been fantastic, so to have a title like this on the PS4 early on...well, that sounds like an ultra-huge bonus, doesn't it?

As much as some may not like the PC similar structure of the PS4, it should make for some happy 3rd party developers. To me, this means studio's who struggled to master the PS3 have NO MORE EXCUSES ...cough...Bethesda...cough..

Ps4 already has a few games I want the ps3 won't get. This, infamous, and killzone. And I assume deep down, which looks awesome. Keep the RPGs coming! Anyone see that list of developers for ps4? Level 5 Atlus and other big RPG devs were on there.
