Rogue Legacy Headed To PS4, PS3 And Vita On July 29
Another great little game for the PlayStation Network.
As announced over at the PlayStation Blog, Rogue Legacy will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita on July 29.
It's described as a "rogue-lite game where you must conquer a magical castle which is constantly changing." The twist is that when you die, your children succeed you, and each child has his or her own unique genetic traits. Therefore, they may be able to surpass certain obstacles easier, or they may find more difficulty with particular parts of the enchanted castle. There is some comedy involved, too...a near-sighted wizard?
The game will support Cross Buy, Cross Save, and boast "101% Content." This means that every single feature in the PC version, including all the content expansions, will come to the PlayStation iterations. It's also interesting to note that developer Cellar Door Games originally made Rogue Legacy with the Vita control scheme in mind, so it should work extremely well on that portable device.
Give it a try at the end of the month.
