Dragon Age: Inquisition Delayed Again, But Stays In 2014
At least this one sticks around for the holiday season.
On the same day that saw Battlefield: Hardline delayed until 2015, EA had some more bad news for anticipatory gamers.
This news isn't quite so terrible, though: Dragon Age: Inquisition has been pushed back to November 18. The game was initially set to arrive on October 7.
Let's not forget that the game was actually supposed to launch last fall, but developer BioWare obviously needed a lot more time. Now, executive producer Mark Darrah explains via press release that they require another five weeks of polish:
"This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see. Ensuring that our open spaces are as engaging as possible. Strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero's choices. And ensuring the experience you get is the best it can be in the platform you choose to play on."
Darrah adds that he appreciates "the enormous support" BioWare has received from the fans, and promises that everyone will benefit from this delay. But in a year where we can't seem to go a month without hearing about another high-profile delay, we have to admit...such news is getting a little tiresome.
