Ready At Dawn: Only The PS4 Could Handle The Order: 1886

We've heard this from first-party developers before and while they obviously harbor a little bias, we're not denying the validity of the report.

Ready at Dawn is working on the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886, and the footage we've seen thus far looks pretty amazing.

Speaking during a recent Sony event in New York (as cited by GameSpot), Ready at Dawn community manager J Goldberg said such a project required a console that could handle the workload. In short:

"We couldn’t have achieved this graphical fidelity with any other console."

"Graphical fidelity" is a relatively vague term, depending on your definition, but I'm sure the PS4 is one powerful machine. We just can't wait to see what the exclusives this generation look like in our living rooms! The Order: 1886 is set to launch on February 20, 2015.

That sounds good. Sure its another shooting game but, its a shooting game with Lycans and stuff. Thats way too cool to pass up. Not to mention the art style is fantastic. Its got a strong 1800's feel to it which is obviously what they were going for. Also I notice my avatar has finally changed. So I think from here on I will end my comment with...

BROOOOODBORNE!

I'm inclined to believe them, those little videos can't really show the fidelity and it's more trouble because the environments are supposed to be dark gray with fog and grit.

Also they have that new soft physics I really want to see, nothin else would handle that very well but PS4.

Silly Ready at Dawn, we already know that. :p

Although I'm much more excited for the campaign, those graphics look sweet.

Definitely one of the main games on the radar for PS4. Hopefully the final product will meet expectations.

I believe them, MS ruined the One at betting so much in the Kinect instead of made the One a more powerful machine, the first multis already are better on the PS4, for me that's brutal and make me not want a One at all.
