Watch Dogs Expansion Coming This Fall, Set In New Jersey
It's not exactly exotic but in the futuristic sci-fi world of Watch Dogs, it could be.
Ubisoft has Tweeted a few details concerning a future expansion pack for Watch Dogs, which launched in May to widespread critical acclaim.
It seems the developers used real-life facts to determine the new location for this piece of DLC: Camden, New Jersey. The Tweet reads: "Our data indicates surveillance has become more prominent in high-crime areas." Then, coupled with an image: "The city of Camden, New Jersey had the highest crime rate in the US in 2012. A 24/7 surveillance program is now in effect."
When a fan asked if this was in regards to an upcoming expansion, the response was: "Coming this fall!" According to a 2012 study using crime data acquired by the FBI, Camden was the most violent city in the US with a population of over 75,000. Fiction imitating reality...
If you want to try it, bear in mind that the $20 Season Pass includes new-single-player content and has you playing as T-Bone, "a brilliant but eccentric hacker who lives by his own rules."
