Mortal Kombat X Trailer Shows Off The Thunder God's Moves

He's a fighting icon and to see him in action once again does my ol' nostalgic heart good.

Here's a new trailer for the uber-brutal Mortal Kombat X; this one puts one of the original - and most popular - MK combatants in the spotlight: Raiden.

Narrated by series creator Ed Boon, we get a chance to examine Raiden's three fighting variations: Thunder God Raiden (boosts his lightning attacks), Displacer Raiden (allows him to teleport), and Storm Lord Raiden (he can set lightning traps). There's also one hell of a surprise at the end of the presentation, so make sure you watch it all the way to the end. Raiden is bound to be extremely effective but beyond that, he'll also be tons of fun to use.

Mortal Kombat X is set to hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC next year.

Deep down Boons like "Why can't I just show off Scorpion?!"

Game looks freaking amazing though. The amount of detail in every hit is just epic. Can't wait to see the final product.

I wish I had the coordination and brain to play these. I used to be a master, now I can't remember a few moves. It's pitiful.

These games don't need any coordination or brain. You can still play it fine World.
