Destiny Will Contain Bungie's "Full Vision" On Every Platform
DestinyDestiny is going to be one of those titles that straddles generations, but that doesn't mean it'll be gimped on the older intended platforms.
Obviously, those playing it on the PlayStation 4 (and perhaps the Xbox 720, as the game is expected to be confirmed for that platform as well), will receive better graphics than those who experience it on the PS3 or Xbox 360. But as developer Bungie told their fans, those who don't immediately upgrade to the next generation of hardware don't have to worry:
"We’ve been planning for multiple hardware platforms from the very beginning, and while we can’t get into the minute technical details of each console, we’re fully committed to delivering our full vision for Destiny on every console we ship on. Currently, that list is PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360."
Known as a "shared world shooter," Destiny is a hugely ambitious project, although sometimes we wonder how many PlayStation fans will be interested. Remember, Bungie spent all of last generation making Halo titles for Microsoft, so this is kinda like Final Fantasy going multiplatform last generation. ...okay, maybe it's not exactly the same, but you get my point.

This game looks cool, but I think I'll wait for some sort of review before getting it.

They are hardly ever unbiased and objective.
I was reading a review by some site called game revolution, it was for Metal Gear Rising. They gave it 4/10. The review was SOOO bad, and clearly they had some sort of biased towards it. Half of the things they said were completely untrue and just wrong. Then I read the comments and so many people were like "Oh I was going to try this game but not after reading this". I felt really bad for those people, because they were being denied an awesomely fun game by some bigot who has no clue.
I only use reviews to give me differing points of view on the game. Even after reading all the reviews for MGR, I still love it and think it's one of the most fun games I've played in a long time.
In all honesty though, reading reviews has only ever ruined a game for me. I never noticed any of MGR's flaws until I read reviews for it that pointed them out.

I try to use reviews to see how the game plays technically because some times a person who hates RPGs reviews a RPG and they just give it a meh for instance.
I take into account how the reviewer feels about the game and why they did or did not like it.

Xbox 360 version first then the ps4/ps3 version will be released at the same time. (from what I read)
