Destiny's Atheon Boss Taken Down In A Mere 17 Seconds

Avid Destiny players are fully aware of the super challenging Vault of Glass Raid.

It's all the more difficult if you attempt it on hard mode. Chances are, you've tried and failed, and maybe the final boss - Atheon - is the reason you failed.

Well, want to see that annoying enemy receive a hearty beat-down? YouTube user Bludrunk uploaded the following video, which shows him taking down Atheon in a ridiculous 17 seconds. It's not counting the amount of time necessary to actually reach the boss, nor does it count the time when Atheon is invincible. Even so, it's pretty damn impressive and apparently, it's all due to a clan called the Legendary Crew.

This team of six is comprised of three Sunsinger Warlocks and three Gunslinger Hunters. All of them, with the exception of one (who was Lv. 29), were Lv. 30, and four of the six used the Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher. ...that thing does some damage.

jeesh. look at that loot he scored....
anyway, I thought the level 28 strikes had matchmaking but they dont. which sucks.
I'm thinking I'm ready to slowdown playing it for a while until more content hits. But I'd still like to max my second subclass(getting close) and get also a legendary primary weapon.

I suggest just grabbing The Lord High Fixer from the Crucible salesman if you need a good primary.

ive ran vog several times, the speed at which you finish the entire thing overall depends on your groups cooperation. i can say the duration has decreased for me with each run since more people are now experienced and know exactly what needs to be done.

i didnt realize its only worth running it once a week since you wont get anything after the first time.

Unless you do it in hard mode... You can run it once a week at 30 and it will drop double loot including some items that only drop in hard mode
