AC Unity Scope "Insane," But Frame Rate Might Be An Issue
Just bear in mind that the version this gamer played wasn't final. That's probably important to remember.
It seems NeoGAF member Jindrax got a chance to play the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed Unity at FACTS 2014 in Belgium, and he shared his experience with the community.
While the Ubisoft representative kept pointing out that the version in question wasn't final, Jindrax couldn't help but be disappointed in the frame rate dips:
"But the game did dip under 30 fps frequently :S. Like every time I entered or exited combat, if I did some crazy free running stuff. But yeah, it wasn’t the final version, the ubisoft guy kept pointing that out."
However, he added that it "didn't take away from the experience" and "the scope of this game is insane." While the game in question is due out in just a few weeks, it's pretty common to find older builds of the game floating around at various industry events. Let's just hope that when Unity ships, the frame rate dips will be minimal.
