The Witcher 3 To Boast Multiplayer?

CD Projekt Red has already revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be coming to the PlayStation 4, and it will in all likelihood be available on the new Xbox as well.

But here's a little tidbit you might not have expected- According to what managing director Adam Badowski told Eurogamer, the team might be considering a multiplayer option for the anticipated RPG.

Badowski would only say they're "thinking about something" and they can't talk about it right now, but we'll have "some information later on." He was asked if this mysterious detail could be related to the wave-based Dark Arena mode found in The Witcher 2, but Badowski replied simply- "I don't think so." As for his reply concerning the possibility of the third entry on Microsoft's next-gen platform, it's fairly obvious that he's hiding the truth. Gotta know it's coming to both PS4 and Xbox 720; it's the only logical conclusion.

As for multiplayer, not all games need it. I know developers really do think it's essential these days, but it really isn't. God of War: Ascension proved that beyond any shadow of a doubt in my estimation.

Oh no... The Witcher are single player experiences! Oh well, if at first they have to include more than one player then please let it be storyline coop with two interesting characters (and not just an anonymous side-kick).

I wish they would bring a compilation of 1,2 and Witcher 3 to the PS3, or PS4.

I doubt the PS3 would be able to run those games, at least not on a good level of graphical quality. Those games are insanely heavy. But a compilation for the PS4 would be super sweet.

360 does so why not?
i was actually dumbfounded, hell still am on how good the 360 version looks!
they wont though, there not familiar with the architecture with the ps3 there not going to go back and hire a few staff members or train current just to port 2 several year old games over.
not worth it.

Did the 360 versions of Witcher look as good as on PC? Wow.

Well, this is then an excellent practical demonstration of the difference between consoles and PCs when it comes to hardware performance, and how they can't be directly compared.

This bodes well for the PS4. ;)

I really trust CDprojekt red, so if they want to put multiplayer into the Witcher franchise I will trust that they are doing it because they have a unique and fresh idea.

But either way I trust CDprojekts judgement to make the best game they can.
