Do Leaked Car Photos Prove GT6 Will Hit Both PS3 And PS4?
See Full ImageNot long ago, we heard that Gran Turismo 6 would be PS3-bound, but there was no mention of the new PlayStation 4 at the time.
However, a set of leaked photos on the Facebook page for LM Gianetti may indicate that the next GT entry will be available for both the PS3 and PS4.
You can see the two photos in question at NowGamer; the pictures have since been removed but they were labeled: "Scansione Per Gran Turismo PS4." There's every chance that the photos could be mislabeled and they're just taking pics for the PS3 but if that was the case, why not just fix the Facebook label? Well, they kinda did; they first changed it to "Scanning Gran Turismo" but then they took the pics away entirely. Hmm...
It doesn't seem possible that Gran Turismo 6 will be a launch title for the PS4 (especially if they're only taking pictures now), but to have GT6 on Sony's new console would definitely boost interest in the new system.

I see this as a huge hint to as where GT6 will be heading and that leaves the dubious question of when..

I love GT5, and GT6 on PS3 would be great, but GT6 on PS4 would be AMAZING!

It isn't about looking/playing differently on the PS4, it's about expanding the capabilities of what is possible in a PS4 version of GT.
More content can be crammed into the game without bogging down the system to the point that the console begins to melt from the strain.
Polyphony already pretty well maxed out the performance of GT on the PS3, and with the capabilities of the pS4, they can continue to ramp up the detail of the car modelling, and damage and handling physics.
Hopefully Polyphony can liven up the presentation just a little, which is a place GT games have always been lacking in, even though I enjoy the games so much I could burst at times with excitement.

ONLY thing that will prove that GT6 is coming to ps3 and 4 is it coming out of the horses mouth.
id be shocked if its not coming to ps4 though, come on this is THE biggest franchise in $onys library!
it was a epic disaster and mistake of monumental proportions to wait till so long in the ps3s life cycle to release GT5!
$ony wont be so forgiving with PD this time........

The PS1 and the PS2 both had two full fledged GT games on the system so the real "shock" would be the PS3 not to follow suite.
There was no "epic disaster" with the timeframe that GT5 arrived on the PS3. PDI was a busy company with GT5P, GTPSP, and of course GT5 coming out all within a few years apart.
How or better yet why can Sony be forgiving PDI when it is a Sony company? Perhaps you didn't know this but Kaz is one of the executives in the company.

They developed a whole game engine for PS3 and it's CELL architecture. GT6 will be on PS3 to keep it relevant for the next two years at least.
PS4 won't need a GT title to sell it. A cheap PS3 with a great GT title will help Sony keep cashing in on the, now profitable, PS3.
