Lords Of The Fallen Turns A Profit, First DLC Revealed

If you want to expand upon a solid, challenging experience, listen up.

Polish developer CI Games has announced the first downloadable content for their recently released action/RPG, Lords of the Fallen.

It's called Ancient Labyrinth and it'll focus on puzzle-solving and exploration. It will also deliver new enemies, including a magical boss called Lord, whose powers continually shift during battle. Players can expect a few new side-quests as well; all told, this comes to nearly three extra hours of content. It's great news for those who appreciate and enjoy the game's style!

Furthermore, as reported by Eurogamer, Lords of the Fallen is now profitable, as it has sold 200,000 copies, with 700,000 total shipped to retailers. With a small budget of only about $12.4 million, it didn't take much for the team to break into the green.

If you haven't already, check out our review. The title isn't as brutally difficult as Dark Souls but it is properly challenging.

I am glad that it has made a profit -- why?

1. I'm sure they worked hard.
2. More Dark Souls-like games are inbound
