Driveclub's Redline Expansion Detailed

Time for another expansion for an increasingly addictive racer.

Evolution Studios has released a trailer for the new Redline Expansion Pack for Driveclub. This is the first piece of DLC you can purchase; the developers gave away the Ignition Expansion for free as an apology for the server issues.

The Redline DLC is part of the Season Pass and it gives racing aficionados a new Tour that includes 11 new events, 5 extra Trophies, and 5 new cars. You can check 'em out in the video below: There's the Renault A110-50, McLaren F1 LM, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive. Redline will be ready to roll on December 17 in Europe and December 23 in North America.

Evolution also claims to have news on the PlayStation Plus version "soon." Well, here's hoping...

First it was BF 4 that didnt work when it first came out. Then it was DriveClub. They both still want money? What is the sad part is ...........

There are still idiots who will pay for it.

End of line.

DriveClub is the most fun I've had in a driving game - it's out-funned Burnout Paradise for me, which is no mean feat (it's a very different game of course, but I enjoy DC more). Paying for DLC for the most enjoyable driving game I've played doesn't sound that crazy ;).

And this is with the network still having issues! If they ever polish it, it'll be imo the best 'arcade-kinda' racer yet released.

Despite its obvious launch issues, Driveclub is pure unadulterated fun. DLC is optional content so who am I to judge what people spend their hard earned money on, and at this point in my life I am too damn old to care.

Guys... it's the people's money.

I have good faith in DriveClub being restored. Unfortunate start.

Still reckon to kick start sales of the game Sony should purchase a 2min advert break and show a random game with weather effects turned on.....that'll sell.

Great game, love it.
