Get Ready: Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection

It's more Borderlands action than you can shake a stick at.

2K and Gearbox Software have announced the uber-attractive Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will include Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and all downloadable content for both games.

It'll all be in high-definition, too, and the title will support cross-saves. Players can transfer save files from the PS3 and 360 versions of the games in question; just remember this only works within consoles of the same family (i.e., PS3 to PS4; Xbox 360 to Xbox One). We'll also get a multiplayer split-screen option, which will allow four players to enjoy the game on a single TV. Ah, the way multiplayer should be!

They even went a step further with a Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition of the game, which is now available to pre-order. They're only making 5,000 units worldwide, though, so you better move fast! This bundle includes the aforementioned Collection along with a remote-controlled Claptrap steward, steel case, and 12 lithographs. It will retail for $400.

Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection will release in North America on March 24 and internationally on March 27. It's great that new console owners will be able to play The Pre-Sequel, which only launched for PS3 last year.

I'll buy this. Only got in one play through of the pre sequel because of the holiday game rush. This will be a good way and get back to playing Borderlands on my ps4.
