What PS4 Needs More: A Resistance Or Killzone Sequel?
I don't care what anyone says; both franchises have always been great and they were very important during the previous generation.
Resistance: Fall of Man was the only launch title that made the PlayStation 3 worthwhile and it kicked off a brand new franchise, which I will always believe never got enough love and respect from gamers.
Killzone may have began during the PS2 generation but let's face it: Things didn't really get rolling until Killzone 2 on the PS3. One of the first shooters I've ever played where I said, "damn, this actually feels different," it was very refreshing and beautifully produced. I also don't hold with the idea that Resistance and Killzone went steeply downhill after the games in question; that's not true at all.
But anyway, if you had to pick, which would you rather have: A brand new Resistance or Killzone? Which do you think would generate the most excitement for PlayStation 4? Which would sell the best? Which would have the best chance of pushing the genre forward again? Me, I'd be good with another Wolfenstein (last year's The New Order was just the ticket in a land dominated by multiplayer, IMO) but I'm probably in the minority.
What say you?
