Naughty Dog Talks Uncharted 4 Openness, Amazing Textures
The more details we get for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the happier we are.
Developer Naughty Dog offered more details on the current work-in-progress that will become arguably the most important PlayStation 4 exclusive to date.
You can find a brief summary at Z-Giochi and here are a few highlights:
First up, Naughty Dog says they're going for a more open feel; in fact, they're trying for an openness they haven't tackled since Jak 3. In other words, it won't be GTA but you can definitely explore a bit more. Then there's the new grappling hook, which apparently won't be too easy to use, as Drake's balance will always be in question.
In regards to that excellent demo we all remember, the designers confirm that it was running at 30 frames per second, although the ultimate goal is 60. Additionally, the team is striving for a texture quality that's four times better than the previous franchise installment. That's pretty sick.
Expect to see Uncharted 4: A Thief's End toward the end of the year.
