Take-Two To Announce XCOM's Fate, Next-Gen Port Of GTAV?
Take-Two Interactive plans to hold an investor call after the market closes on May 13, so they can talk about the previous fourth quarter and fiscal year.
The interesting part is that previous investor calls often yielded big game-related news, including upcoming projects and the status of current projects. This time around, Take-Two may reveal the fate of XCOM, which has recently disappeared from view, along with news concerning Grand Theft Auto V.
Specifically, there are rumors floating around that they will reveal next-gen ports for the hotly anticipated blockbuster. If this happens, GTAV will join the ever-growing list of "cross-generation" titles; Watch Dogs, Destiny and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are already notable games on that list. The new GTA is slated to launch on September 17 in North America, which may be a little ahead of Sony's PlayStation 4, which currently holds a vague "Holiday 2013" release window.
If GTAV does come to the PS4, well...that'll be cool.
