Arkham Knight Trailer: Batman's Nemeses Steal The Spotlight

One of the year's most anticipated titles just got a great new trailer.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have released a new video that highlights the villains in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight.

Called "Gotham is Mine," we get a peek at several of the plot's super-villains, including Scarecrow, Two-Face, The Penguin, the Riddler, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and of course, the Arkham Knight. They join forces in a final attempt to dispatch the legendary Batman once and for all, and claim Gotham City for themselves. Lunatics running a city...wonder how long that would last.

Batman: Arkham Knight is slated to arrive on June 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

It irks me that the character models look different. I guess next gen adds a few years.

It's one story across 3 games, it's only natural the caracters age with time.

People don't age much over the course of 2 years

Comparing these models to AC looks more like 6-7 years apart.

Oh yes June can't come soon enough. One GOTY candidate right there.

It irks me that it looks like the ladies sex appeal was toned down. Loved their sexy outfits of previous games.

Wasn't this a similar of the same plot to Origins?

Not really. Origins had multiple villains yes, but they weren't working together very much, just all after a $50 million bounty. Plus that game had some interesting twists that won't be showing up again. Also, Origins often isn't thought of as part of the Arkham "trilogy" since it was weaker than its predecessors and not done by Rocksteady Studios. I agree it wasn't as great as Arkham Asylum and City, but come on those were great games and hard to surpass. I personally still recommend Origins and enjoyed it myself. I expect GREAT things from Knight though and can't wait for June!

Origins is great game if you havent played any of the Batman games but it's kind of hard to go to a game like Origins after playing Arkham Asylum and Arkham City... Yes I finished the game and yes I can say it was good back when compared to the previous titles it really fails to compare... But i guess i should give Origins a break, Rocksteady has made their games in way that it seems only they know how to surpass their previous titles

I didn't like Origins. It had some cool shots and looked pretty like when bats was holding that dude over the ledge by his ankle but the world felt empty, Troy Baker was meh as Joker (Mark Hammel Joker Fan)and the graphics were worse than Arkham City. I never finished it for these reasons.

Batman Origins was by the secondary "milk the franchise" team while the real team cooks up Arkham Knight.
