Go Back In Time With From Software's Shadow Tower

Developer From Software is reveling in all the glowing praise their new title, Bloodborne, has received.

They've been around for a while and in fact, one of their first efforts will soon arrive as a digital title on the PlayStation Network.

According to Condemn or Condone, it's the 17-year-old Shadow Tower, an action/RPG production for the original PlayStation. As you might expect, there's quite the technology gap (just look up some pics) but it still has that From Software vibe. There's the depth and darkness we always associate with their games, and it might be interesting for veteran gamers.

We don't have a release date for Shadow Tower on PSN just yet, but it should be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita.

Not sure if I'll try out any of From Software's previous games...depends on how bad my PTSD is after I complete Bloodborne.

Also worth noting: FromSoft's Armored Core was just put on PSN, about a week ago, if you're looking for something different from the developer. And I believe that, at least on the Vita, you should be able to negate the issue of having... Creative controls.

Totally forgot From Software did Armored Core. Armored Core 2 was a big deal in the early PS2 days.

Yeah... A lot of people forgot about, or didn't even know about Armored Core...

To the point, where most of the community who actually still plays the game outside of Japan (Seriously, there's maybe 200 of us, worldwide, who play more than just story mode...) just imported the Japanese copies for the 5th generation games, to play on their server, since the servers outside of Japan were completely dead after a month.

Maybe, if From actually gives us an AC6, they'll do the nice thing, and make it not region locked... And maybe they'll even advertise this one...

I remember my friend playing this back in the day. Had no idea it was From Software.

Was able to pick up Bloodborne earlier than anticipated. Going to play some before I head out tonight. I'm excited.

I'm going back a spell, no pun intended, but I remember playing Stone Keep back in the 90's... which had live actors in costumes playing the parts of goblins with a keep as the backdrop. Ah those were the days. :/

Keep playing!
