Will The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt End Up Outscoring Bloodborne?
With 58 reviews counted, Bloodborne currently holds a Metascore of 93.
That's pretty damn impressive. We haven't seen a game score this well since Grand Theft Auto V (and no, I'm not counting remasters and re-releases).
But the next game that has a chance of scoring even higher is probably The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Given the supreme amount of hype and anticipation surrounding this mammoth title, I honestly think a lot of gamers are expecting mid-9s. The question is, will it - or will any game in 2015 - outscore From Software's excellent effort? The critics might be biased toward hard games but that's only a theory...
What are you expecting in terms of scores for CD Projekt Red's RPG? Do you think it'll come down to Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 for Game of the Year 2015? Or will even better titles land at the end of the year? We won't get Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, remember, but we will get games like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and nobody should sleep on MGS. Not ever. We also have to consider Batman: Arkham Knight (June 23) and E3 might open our eyes to more potential masterpieces.
What say you?
